    AnnotationThe FTIR ATR spectroscopy has been used to study the formation of PANI film in situ during the chemical polymerization of aniline on ZnSe crystal. The influence of various acids on the start and progress of polymerization of aniline on the surface, which was in contact with the reaction mixture, has been analysed. The spectra of PANI films protonated with hydrochloric, sulfuric, or phosphoric acid have been compared.
