    AnnotationThermal plasma jets are stronghly affected by interaction with surrounding atmosphere named entrainment.The entrainment causes reduction of the plasma jet temperature and velocity,worsening plasma spraying condiitons and thus properties of the result coatings are also getting worse.Specially designed shroud nozzle was attached to the plasma torch exit to reduce penetration of the cold.
