Annotation	The paper deals with computation of effective impedance of profile conductors cyrrying harmonic currents for a wide range of frequencies (50 Hz - 50 GHz). Investigated is particularly the influence of varying profiles of the conductors for the same surface of their cross-sections. The theoretical analysis is illustrated on several examples
