Compression testing and creep tests in compression were performed with 8 alloys with different concentrations of carbon. The quantities describing the deformation process (flow stress, activation energy, stress exponent) are related to the phase and dislocation structure observed after the deformation tests. The effect of the presence of Si on the appearing of Al4C3 was observed.
