The integral methods may be advantageous for solution of several classes of problems in static or low-frequency electromagnetism. Typical are various linear tasks characterized by geometrical incommensurability of the involved subdomains, by their motion or ignorance of the boundary conditions. But these methods are also typical by several drawbacks, the most serious being computation of large systems with fully populated matrices. The paper summarizes all basic features of the method and shows a possible way how to reduce the number of the degrees of freedom using higher-order approximations of the investigated quantity in the mesh elements. The theoretical analysis is illustrated on an example whose results are discussed.

Článek shrnuje základní charakteristiky integrálních metod pro řešení vybraných problémů z oblasti statických a nízkokmitočtových elektromagnetických polí a představuje možnost urychlení a zpřesnění metodiky užitím algoritmů vyšších řádů přesnosti. Vlastnosti této metody jsou ilustrovány na vhodném příkladu.
