Annotation
The Pilot-Plant Department (BTH) of the Institute of Microbiology ASCR participates significantly in a support of Czech environment decontamination services including contaminated soil, air and water. We are the producer of active biomass able to be applied to polluted sites or in special reactors. Studies of heavy metals accumulation by various microorganisms were done. Mathematical describtion of decontamination properties of a new aromates degradation strain Candida tropicalis. The results were employed for a large-capacity degradation. Decontamination of aliphatic hydrocarbons and crude oil residues. A special cultivation technology was developed
