The Symposium entitled History of geophysics was focused on foundation and development of individual geophysical sub-disciplines. In three days of oral and poster papers presentation the participants listened altogether 26 communications in the field. According to the INHIGEO Symposia tradition seven geophysical and geological excursions throughout the Czech Republic were organized.

Sympozium s podnázvem Historie geofyziky se zaměřilo na založení a vývoj jednotlivých geofyzikálních disciplín. Během tří dnů bylo představeno 26 ústních a posterových příspěvků. Jak bývá tradicí na sympoziích INHIGEO, uskutečnilo se sedm geofyzikálních a geologických exkurzí po České republice.
