    AnnotationM. Paulová byla první ženou v historii, která získala titul profesor. Věnovala se především dějinám východní Evropy a Balkánského poloostrova. Významné bylo její mnohaleté vědecké bádání v oblasti dokumentace činnosti slovanských odbojových skupin za I. světové války. M. Paulová byla členkou řady mezinárodních vědeckých institucí a její vědecká práce byla oceňována i politickými špičkami meziválečného Československa a Jugoslávie.
    Description in EnglishM. Paulová was the first woman in the Czech history which became professor at university. She was a historian and dealt especially with the history of Eastern Europe and of Balkan Peninsula. Her research, lasting many years, in the documentation of the Slavonic revolt groups and their activities during the WWI was very important. M. Paulová was a member of many scholarly societies and organizations at home and abroad, and her research was highly regarded by representatives of the interwar Czechoslovakia and of Yugoslavia. Her personal papers deposited in the ASCR Archives were processed a published in inventory. The inventory is prefaced by a thorough introduction informing on her life and on the contents of preserved documentation.
