Příspěvek k životopisu na základě znalosti další pramenné základny stejně vydaných pramenů a literatury doplňuje Albertovu biografii A. Jiráska ze 40. let 20. století. Připomíná osobnost E. Alberta jako lékaře a popularizátora medicíny, literárního vědce, překladatele, básníka a autora prací z historie rodného kraje a především politika a člověka.

Contribution to the biography is based on the exploration of further fundamental sources on the one hand, and on the available up-to-now published sources and literature on the other hand. This work makes Albert's biography written by A. Jirásek in 40s of the 20th century more complete and precise.It commemorates E. Albert's personality as a physician, a popularizer of medicine, a literary scholar, a translator, a poet, an author of historical studies of his native region and, above all, as a politician and a human.
