    The aim of presented study was an investigation of basic spectroscopic properties and wavelength tunability of new Tm,Ho-codoped gadolinium-gallium-aluminium non-stoichiometric tertiary garnet Tm,Ho:GGAG.
    The Tm,Ho:GGAG crystal, grown by Czochralski method in a slightly oxidative atmosphere, was in the form of 2.7 mm thick plane-parallel face-polished AR-coated plate. The sample composition was determined using electron microprobe X-ray elemental analysis. A fiber coupled laser diode was used to longitudinal Tm,Ho:GGAG crystal pumping. The laser diode was working in the pulsed regime at wavelength 786 nm.
