V rovině medicínského práva se čím dál častěji můžeme setkat s problematikou prodlužování života a efektivity vynakládaných prostředků, která se v rovině právní jeví jako střet autonomního rozhodování pacienta a odborného postupu zdravotnických pracovníků.
In the area of medical law, the issues of extending life, and the efficiency with wich funds are spent, are increasingly encountered. Legally, these issues can be viewed as a clash between patients' autonomous decisions and medical practitioners´ expert procedures.
