Studie se zabývá třemi nejnovějšími českými překlady celé bible, které se objevily v r. 2009 (v roce 30. výročí Českého ekumenického překladu a 100. výročí českého překladu čtveroevangelia z pera Jana Ladislava Sýkory). Jde o tyto texty: Bible: překlad 21. století, Český studijní překlad, Jeruzalémská bible. Článek představuje okolnosti jejich vzniku a jejich hlavní typologické charakteristiky včetně typických stylistických rysů.

The present article focuses on three recent Czech translations of the whole Bible that appeared in 2009 (the year of the 30th anniversary of Czech Ecumenical Translation and the 100th anniversary of Jan Ladislav Sýkora’s Czech translation of Four Gospels): The Twenty-First Century Translation (Bible: překlad 21. století), Czech Study Translation (Český studijní překlad) and Jerusalem Bible (Jeruzalémská bible). It presents the circumstances of their genesis as well as the main typological characteristics, including some typical stylistic features.
