It was found that microwave activation of heterogeneous catalyst was always better under MW condsitrion than activation under conventional heating. In this case, the microwave activation was faster and more efficient than the catalyst activation using classical heating. The explanation of these differences may be probably caused by superheating of catalyst by MW irradiation.
