The article is a part of a collection of texts published on the occassion of the 90th anniversary of the adoption of the Czechoslovak Constitution in 1920. This Constitution was in force until May 9, 1948. The contribution focuses on the constitutional regulation of the head of state and the relationship of the president to the government.
