Recenze se zabývá nejnovější publikací Evy Stehlíkové Anticke divadlo, profesorky teatrologie a přední české odbornice na divadlo antiky. Kniha v neotřele encyklopedické formě podává čtenáři široký a ucelený obraz o historii, teorii a praxi řeckého a římského divadla a současně jej seznamuje s recepci antického dramatu v evropské světové a domácí tvorbě a na jevišti.

The review deals with the latest book by Eva Stehlikova, a professor of theatre studies and prominent Czech specialist in classical theatre. The book in an encyclopedic form offers the reader a complete insight into history, theory and practise of Greek and Roman theatre and at the same time into reception of ancient drama in the works of European and Czech authors and on the stage.
