The study addresses translation of architectural elements and ideas, using the example of residences of three generations belonging to the catholic line of the Sachsen-Lauenburg family. Their network of residence in Bohemia, Lauenburg and Baden-Baden enabled and sometimes even required a repeated application of similar patterns. The paper discusses relationships between the main and other residences as well as the genealogy of elements of architecture and garden design.
