The abstract focuses on archaeological finds of stoneware from Prague, particularly from Prague Castle and its surroundings. Stoneware products were imported to Prague from the territory of present-day Germany. Written and other sources document the functioning trade but also specific ceramic finds, which most often come from waste pits. Numerous archaeological finds document trade contacts between Prague and the Saxon Electorate in the period from the 16th to the 17th century. Products from Lower Lusatia (Muskau, Triebel region) were imported to Prague from the middle of the 17th century.
