Článek popisuje působení surfaktantů na pochody ve vícefázových systémech. Surfaktanty adsorbují na mezifázové rozhraní a tím ovlivňují dynamické chování bublin, kapek i částic. Tyto jejich vlastnosti lze využít například při flotačních procesech, kde dochází k separaci různých směsí částic v kapalném prostředí. Použití vhodného typu surfaktantu může významně ovlivnit selektivitu a účinnost separace.

Article describes the influence of surfactants on the phenomena occurring in multiphase systems. The surfactants adsorb to the interface and affect the dynamic behaviour of bubbles, drops and particles. These properties can be utilized during the separation of particle mixtures by flotation process. The proper surfactant can significantly affect the selectivity and the efficiency of the separation.
