Stať upozorňuje na rozdílné výsledky petrografické analýzy materie, z které jsou zhotoveny piety krásného slohu z doby kolem roku 1400 v Bernu a Petrohradě, jak se vyskytují v recentní uměleckohistorické literatuře.

The article points to the diametrically different results of the petrographic analysis of matter, from which two Pietà of the Beautiful Style around 1400 in Bern and St. Petersburg were allegedly made, as can be found in the current art historical literature.
