Kapitola se zabývá otázkou označení idiomů, která mají psané texty, ale nejsou plně standardizovanými jazyky, používanými ve všech komunikačních sférách.Tato problematika je dnes poměrně aktuální, protože se setkáváme se stále větším množstvím jazykových experimentů. Tyto idiomy bývají nazývány různě: literární dialekt, regionální jazyk, mikrojazyk. Tyto pojmy však nejsou chápány stejně ani badateli, ani laiky. To je způsobeno odlišnou sociolingvistickou zkušeností různých jazykových a kulturních areálů, a to i v Evropě. Článek se pokouší navrhnout klasifikaci těchto idiomů podle jejich funkcí, pěstovaných literárních žánrů a charakteru normy.

The chapter discusses the terminological problem related to the idioms possess written texts, but are not a fully standardized language used in all communication spheres. The question is becoming more urgent because of the fact that the current virtual world enables easy experimentation with “new written languages” that have various background. These idioms have been described with various terms as e.g. literary dialect, regional language, microlanguage, which are generally not understood the same way neither by scholars, nor by the society. The main issue, which disables to find a properly defined term, is a different sociolinguistic experience of different linguistic and cultural areas even in Europe. This article proposes a concept based on the perception that each idiom may be on a different level from the point of view of its functions, cultivated literary genres and the character of the norm. Single levels can be considered as phases in a general evolution process of written idioms.
