Príspevok analyzuje sémantické a žánrové transformácie toposu drotára, ktorý bol v 19. stor. v českom prostredí najfrekventovanejším stereotypom spätým so slovenským kontextom, a to v operných libretách J. K. Chmelenského Dráteník (1826) a K. Želenského U Božích muk (1898).

Making use of intertextuality, the paper analyses the semantic and generic transformations of the tinker topos, which was in the 19th century the most frequent stereotype associated with the Slovak context, namely, in the opera librettos of J. K. Chmelenský Dráteník (1826) and K. Želenský U Božích muk (1898).
