Pentamethiniové soli s inkorporovanou expandovanou chinoxalinovou jednotkou obecného vzorce I, využitelné jako prostředek s cytostatickým účinkem pro nádorové buněčné linie a k potlačení růstu nádoru. Dále lze využít tyto látky jako prostředku k selektivnímu značení mitochondrií.

In the present invention, there are disclosed pentamethinine salts with incorporated expanded quinoxaline unit of the general formula I, that are usable as a composition exhibiting cytostatic activity for tumor cell lines and for suppressing tumor growth. Further, these substances can be used for selective marking of mitochondrias.
