První část textu se zabývá gallasovskou a clam-gallasovskou rezidenční síti, jejími proměnami a funkcí jednotlivých sídel (hrady, zámky, paláce). Kromě hlavní severočeské domény epizodicky existovaly i majetkové držby ve východních a středních Čechách. Druhá část textu je věnována hraběcím vrchnostenských úředníků, kterým připadla důležitá role kulturně-sociálních prostředníků mezi jednotlivými sídly (panstvími), resp. mezi metropolí a venkovem. Závěr obsahuje výčet (clam)-gallasovských dvorních stavitelů.

First part of the text deals with the residential network structure of the Gallas and Clam-Gallas families, its changes as well as with the function of the individual seats and residences. Beside the main North-Bohemian family domain there existed episodic family estates located in the Eastern resp. Central-Bohemia. The aristocratic high officials represented a very important so¬cial and cultural factor, connecting individual manors and the countryside with the capital as well. The final part brings a list of the Gallas´ and Clam-Gallas´ house architect and master masons.
