We describe the Czech Labour Force Survey data used in our analysis, provided by the Czech Statistical Office (CSO). We proceed by investigating employment trends at the level of key demographic groups, distinguishing trends on the extensive and intensive margin. Doing so, we pay special attention to the comparison of the situation before, during and after the last economic crisis. In the concluding section, we summarize our key findings in the framework of broader socio-economic developments and raise questions for further research.
