Příspěvek prezentuje moderní metody radiografického a tomografického průzkumu na příkladech nejrůznějších historických materiálů. Výsledky byly dosaženy s využitím patentovaného zařízení TORATOM (Twinned ORthogonal Adjustable TOMograph). Modulární koncepce přístroje umožňuje vývoj a realizaci nových radiografických metod nedestruktivního zobrazování jako je velkoplošné RTG skenování, mikrotomografie dvěma zdroji na dvou energiích nebo zobrazování nebo zobrazování objektů s vysokým útlumem RTG záření.

This work presents modern methods of radiographic and tomographic research applied on various historical materials. The results were achieved with the use of the patented TORATOM device (Twinned ORthogonal Adjustable TOMograph). The modular concept of the device allows the development and implementation of new radiographic non-destructive imaging methods as large area x-ray scaning, dual-energy and dual-source microtomography or imaging of objects with high X-ray attenuation.
