The authors publish a previously unknown drawing by Hans von Aachen in the Moravian Gallery in Brno, representing The Raising of Lazarus (John 11: 1–44). Being one of four drawings of this iconography by the artist, it sheds fresh light both on the early phase of the von Aachen´s career, as well as on his method of drawing.
