Der Artikel befasst sich mit die Strategien und die politische Bedeutung der Heiratspolitik von Luxemburger Dynastie während der Regierung Kaisers Karls IV. (1346-1378). Die Analyse zeigt, dass diese Strategie sehr treu die Manöver von Karls internationalen Politik, vorzüglich im dynamischen Kontext der politischen und dynastischen Bündnisse im Mitteleuropa folgt.

The article discusses the strategy and political meaning in the matrimonial politics of the Luxembourg dynasty during the reign of Charles IV of Luxembourg (1346-1378). The analyse shows that this strategy follows very quickly the manoeuvring of Charles' international politics especially in the fluctuant context of political alliances in Central Europe.
