BZT-50 ceramics was studied by dielectric spectroscopy below 1 MHz at 300-10 K and analysed including bias electric field up to 28 kV/cm. No stable ferroelectric phase can be induced, which indicates a dipolar glass behavior. The broad dielectric relaxation can be fitted by a Vogel-Fulcher law with a low freezing temperature and the evaluated Edwards-Anderson parameter obeys the spherical random bond - random field model of relaxors.
