This paper presents some preliminary results and remarks on site effect at the locality of the seismic station Ostrava-Krásné Pole (OKC) which is part of the Czech regional seismological network. Short-term seismological measurements were realized simultaneously at two sites with different geological conditions using two identical seismic apparatuses GAIA Vistec and seismometers Lennartz LE3D/5s within the frequency range of 0.2 - 50 Hz. Station “ST1” located in an experimental gallery represents a rock site formed by Carboniferous layers, while station “ST2” situated in a seismic cellar represents soil site with Quaternary sediments whose thickness amounts to roughly 16.5 m. Seismic events and ambient noise recorded at stations ST1 and ST2 were analysed by three different spectral ratio methods - SSR, HVSR and HVNR.
