The 21st International Congress of Chemical and Process Engineering, CHISA 2014, held in Prague from 23 to 27 August 2014 confirmed its credentials as one of the leading venues for academic and industrial communities, covering a wide range of chemical engineering topics and offering many interdisciplinary links to modern process industries. The programme included standard general sessions and many specialised symposia (see www.chisa.cz/2014 or the general website www.chisa.cz). Participants were engaged in intensive exchange of research results, discussions, and new joint project building.
