Nuclear energy was strongly influenced by the Fukushima I disaster. The Japan reactors were shut down for regular inspections during last two years and only two of them have been restarted to date. Japan was even without nuclear energy for a few months during last year. Other reactors were also not operating. Some other new or old reactors were connected to the grid after refit. A series of stress tests of the world nuclear facilities were characteristic of the past two years. Let us examine the tendencies and review of the events around nuclear reactors during the recent years.
