Text se zabývá historií projektu uměleckohistorické topografie (Soupisu památek historických a uměleckých v království Českém) zahájeného v 90. letech 19. století Archeologickou komisí České akademie věd a umění ve výrazném předstihu před dalšími zeměmi monarchie a na odborně velmi vysoké úrovni. V centru pozornosti příspěvku při tom stojí zvláště vývoj vzájemné spolupráce českých a německých odborníků.

The text is dealing with the history of project of the art-historical topography (Inventory of historical and art sights in the Bohemia Kingdom) launched in 90s of the 19th Century by the Archaeology Commission of Czech Academy of Science and Art advancing substantially other countries of the monarchy pursued highly professionally. Hence, the contribution is focusing especially on the development of mutual co-operation of the Czech and German specialists.
