Článek vychází z úvahy o pojmu-termínu „individuální styl“; na základě názorů některých teoretiků klade otázku, zda „idiolekt“ vztahovat spíše k souboru jazykových prostředků a „individuální styl“ k souboru určitých řečově-textových charakteristik, nebo zda např. „idiolekt“ vztahovat spíše k projevům mluveným a „individuální styl“ k projevům písemným. Teoretickou oporu článku tvoří dále Bachtinovy podněty k výzkumu intertextuality a práce L. Doležela o fikční sémantice, resp. i jeho zmínky o fikční pragmatice (pragmatice předstírání). Na tomto podkladě je zkoumána jedna výrazná složka individuálního stylu politického komentátora českého deníku Právo Jiřího Hanáka, a sice jeho „mluvení za druhého“, resp. „vkládání do úst“ politiků, případně i dalších subjektů. Výroky, které jim novinář vkládá do úst, se pohybují na rozhraní skutečnosti a fikce; někdy jsou vyloženě hypotetické, fiktivní, většinou jim však nechybí jistá reference ke skutečnosti. „Hlasy“ komentátora a subjektů, jimž připisuje takto konstruované výroky, se tu bachtinovsky prostupují.

This article considers the term “individual style”. Using the opinions of several theorists as its point of departure, it poses the question of whether “idiolect” should used to refer to a set of linguistic means and “individual style” to a set of specific speech-text characteristics, or if “idiolect” should be related, rather, to spoken expression and “individual style” to written expression. The theoretical basis for the article is also informed by Bakhtin’s ideas on researching intertextuality and the work of L. Doležel on fictional semantics as well as fictional pragmatics (the pragmatics of pretending). On this basis, one striking aspect of the individual style of the political commentator from the Czech daily newspaper Právo, Jiří Hanák, is analysed, i.e. his “speaking for another”, or even “putting words in the mouths” of politicians and others. The comments that the journalist puts in their mouths are on the border of reality and fiction, sometimes they are truly hypothetical, fictional, though they usually do not lack a certain reference to reality. The “voices” of the commentator and the subjects to whom the constructed comments are attributed are intertwined in a Bakhtinian manner.
