Quest'articolo tenta di rispondere alla seguente domanda: perché in una lezione del 1973 Patocka esprime l'esigenza di un cristianesimo demitizzato? L'autore individua il motivo di tale esigenza nell'aspirazione a scoprire gli aspetti esistenziali del cristianesimo.

This article deals with the question why Patocka, in a lecture from 1973, calls for a demythologized christianity. The author strives to show that this exigency is motivated by the need to recover the existential aspects of Christianity.
