Tento interní dokument je uživatelskou příručkou k programu Signal Selection Tool. Signal Selection Tool (SST) je jednoduchý nástroj, umožňující ruční označení hledaných objektů v souboru snímků a jejich zařazení do očíslovaných skupin. Příkladem může být označení fluorescenčních signálů v jádrech buněk, značených metodou FISH (Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization). Program systematicky prochází jednotlivé snímky ve vstupním adresáři, zobrazuje je a uživatel může do snímku vložit značky - křížky, označující objekty zájmu (např. fluorescenční signály). Jednotlivé značky je možné rozřadit do skupin tak, aby objekty zájmu (signály) patřící k jednomu nadřazenému objektu (buněčnému jádru) byly umístěny ve stejné skupině (měly stejné číslo). Signal Selection Tool bude použit pro generování ground-truth dat pro snímky z fluorescenčního mikroskopu v rámci projektu TAČR TA01010931 GenEx.

This internal document is user manual for the Signal Selection Tool program. Signal Selection Tool (SST) is a simple tool allowing for manual marking of objects of interest in the set of images and for grouping of these objects into a set of numbered groups. As an example, marking of fluorescence signals in the FISH-labeled nuclei can be considered. The tool loads the images from the input directory and displays them one-by-one. The user may set cross-styled markers into the image, which will indicate the objects of interest (e.g. fluorescence signals). It is possible to group the markers into groups so that the objects of interest (signals), belonging to the same parent object (nucelus), belong to the same group (in other words, that they have the same group number). Signal Selection Tool will be used to generate ground-truth data for fluorescence microscope images of the project TAČR TA01010931 GenEx.
