X-ray imaging of a sample performed such that the sample is irradiated from one direction but from two different source to detector distances gives pseudo-3D information about its inner structure. It is possible to obtain 3D coordinates of discrete objects inside the sample and to obtain rough information about their shape and orientation. The method is based on the measurement of the relative change of the image sizes due to the change of the source to detector distance. A simple experiment is presented showing the feasibility of the method.
