The essay concentrates on controversy between Prague archbishop Johann Friedrich von Waldstein and bohemian estates, especialy noblemen in the Years 1682–1685. It was one of many conflicts between state and church power, in which was involved also king Leopold I., Viennese nunciature and papal court. The autor follows the progress and the impacts of the controversy.
