Úvodní článek k druhému vydání časopisu Aula v roce 2011, které se věnovalo genderovým aspektům vysokoškolských a vědních politik, se zabývá především otázkou, jak se problematika genderové rovnosti promítá do vědních politik, jakých kontur v procesu implementace do těchto politik nabývá a jak její šíři uplatňované diskursivní praktiky zužují a ohýbají. Článek dále shrnuje hlavní témata a myšlenky příspěvků, zpráv (z výzkumu) a recenzí, které byly zařazeny do tohoto vydání časopisu.

Introductory article of the second edition of the journal Aula in 2011, which was devoted to gender aspects of higher education and science policies, deals mainly with the question of how the issue of gender equality is reflected in science policies, which contours in the process of implementation of these policies it aquires and how the applied discursive practices narrow and bend its range. This article also summarizes the main themes and ideas of papers, messages (of research) and the reviews that were included in this edition of the magazine.
