Na pozadí historického vývoje české společnosti a v kontextu teoretických přístupů feministické sociologie ke studiu pracovní a rodinné sféry analyzujeme biografické rozhovory se ženami různých věkových skupin v různých fázích rodinného cyklu i v různých situacích na trhu práce. Kromě toho se v knize specificky zaměřujeme na průřezové téma přetrvávající praxe znevýhodnění a diskriminace žen na trhu práce, spolu s tématem rozdílných možností kombinace práce a rodiny v životech žen vzhledem k různým kontextům živitelství.

n the background of the historical development of Czech society and in the context of theoretical approaches to the study of feminist sociology of work and family we analyze biographical interviews with women of different age groups in different family and job situations. The book also specifically focuses on cross-cutting theme of the continuing practice of discrimination against women in the labor market, along with the theme of different options for combining work and family lives of women in relation to different contexts of breadwinning.
