This paper focuses on possibilities of reading Heidegger's Contributions to Philosophy. It outlines the phenomenological origin of Heidegger`s thinking and it aims to interpret the terminology of Ereignis in the phenomenological way. It sees, for example, the "hesitant refusal of be-ing" as a way of phenomenological reduction. A special attention is pointed to the motif of "reticence in silence" (die Erschweigung).
