Institut moravských landfrýdů představuje významné téma právních a politických dějin středověké a raněnovověké Moravy, protože představuje důležitou součást zemského práva a stavovského zřízení v 15. a 16. století. Jako typicky stavovská instituce byly landfrýdy ze stavovského systému odstraněny v pobělohorském období.

The Moravian Landfriede institutes represent an important issue as regards legal and political history of Mediaeval and Early modern Moravia because they represented a significant component of the provincial law and the estate establishment throughout the 15th and 16th century. As genuine estate institutions, they were removed with post-White Mountain changes of the estate system.
