Sochy v lodi kostela sv. Mikuláše na Malé Straně v Praze (I. F. Platzer, 1755-1761) byly uměleckými historiky interpretovány jako osoby reprezentující klíčové epochy dějin křesťanství: Kyros Veliký, císařové Konstantin a Theodosius a sv. Jan Nepomucký. Článek navrhuje interpretovat "Kyra" jako sv. Jeremiáše a "císaře" jako Sv. Jana a Pavla.

Statues in the nave of St. Nicholas Church in the Lesser Town (I. F. Platzer, 1755-1761) were interpreted as persons representing crucial events of Christian history: Cyrus the Great, emperors Constantine and Theodosius and St. John of Nepomuk. The paper proposes to interpret Cyrus as St. Jeremiah and Roman emperors as St. John and Paul.
