Klíněnka jírovcová každoročně poškozuje listovou plochu jírovců, omezuje tak základní funkce listů a tím stromy oslabuje. Tato práce se zabývá monitorováním stupně poškození jírovců larvami klíněnky na katastrálním území České Budějovice. Výsledky dokumentují, že jedním z hlavních předpokladů úspěšné regulace škůdce je plošná a důkladně provedená likvidace listů jírovců s přezimujícími kuklami klíněnky jírovcové.

The horse chestnut leaf-miner, Cameraria ohridella, causes serious damage to leaf surface of horse chestnuts, thus limiting main functions of leaves and weakens the trees. The present paper deals with monitoring of damage level caused by larvae of this pest. The results demonstrate that one of the main pre-requisits for successful control of this pest is areal and thoroughly made removal of leaves with overwinterring pupae of the leaf-miner.
