Osobnost Miklóse Horthyho byla maďarskou historiografií od roku 1945 hodnocena velmi odlišně – od nazvání Horthyho fašistickým diktátorem až po realistické hodnocení po roce 1970.

The personality of the Regent Miklós Horthy were assessed rather differently by Hungarian historiography from 1945 – from labelling Horthy as a fascist dictator to a more realistic re-assessement of him from the 1970s onwards.
