The share of residual tectonic stress in stress state in rock mass is indisputable. The important evidence of tectonic stresses is confirmed in many cases of rock bursts. The demonstration of an example of this type of rock burst occurred in the Ostrava-Karviná Coalfield on 14th July 2011 is the content of our contribution.
