The article analyses the life and work of Jarmila Urbánková-Galandauerová (1911-2000) and dominant features of her creation as greatest czech poetess, that demonstrated the life of woman in transformations from puberty up to death in the 20th century and she was authoress of important translations from English and Bulgarian.
