The research project of the Iron Age hillfort of Vladař (western Bohemia) is focusing on the reconstruction of past land cover and land use. Its primary aims are to chronologically and spatially detect individual human activities, and to model their impact on the surrounding area. To achieve this, a multidisciplinary approach is undertaken combining both archaeological and environmental data.
