    Optical properties, including optical transmittance, absorption coefficient, refractive index, and dielectric constant, of Sr7%,Ce15% co-dopedGdF3 crystal grown by the Czochralski method are discussed. Moreover, a-ray responses, including emission spectrum, pulse height spectrum, and decay time, are also presented.
