Studie se zabývá cenzurou publikací s erotickým námětem v době první Československé republiky. Věnuje se knihám, které otevřeně tematizovaly lidskou sexualitu. Fungování cenzurního systému je demonstrováno na konkrétních případech románů Victora Margueritta Garsonka (La Garconne) a Henryho Millera Obratník Raka (Tropis of Cancer).
The study is devoted to the censorship of publications with erotic subject matter during the first Czechoslovak Republic. It describes various books that openly had human sexuality as their topic. To demonstrate the working of the censorship system, the article discusses specific cases, Victor Margueritte's novel La Garconne, and Henry Miller's Tropic of Cancer.
