Ve vyzvané přednášce je nastíněn současný stav v oblasti metod pro výzkum turbulence. Jsou podrobně analyzovány problémy při matematickém modelování a je také ukázán význam a perspektiva experimentálního výzkumu.
In the key-note lecture the current state of the turbulence research is presented. The problems connected with mathematical modelling are presented in details, relevance and perspective of experimental research is pointed out.
